1 · Acceptance
By accessing or using first-law.ca (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2 · Permitted use
You may browse the Site for informational purposes related to FirstLaw Energy Inc. (“FirstLaw”) and its products. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to disrupt the Site or its underlying services.
- Use the Site to violate any law, infringe any third party’s rights, or transmit malicious code.
- Misrepresent your identity when requesting investor dataroom access.
3 · Investor dataroom
The dataroom at /dataroom contains confidential information and is governed by a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement that you must sign before access is granted. Those terms apply in addition to these.
4 · Intellectual property
All text, designs, renders, 3D models, schematics, photographs, code, and other materials on the Site are owned by FirstLaw or used under licence. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Site’s content, except for personal, non-commercial viewing in a standard web browser.
5 · Forward-looking statements
Performance figures shown on the Site (savings estimates, COP values, payback periods, etc.) are illustrative projections based on assumptions stated alongside them. Actual results depend on individual installation conditions and may differ materially. Nothing on the Site is a guarantee of energy savings, financial return, or technical performance.
6 · No professional advice
Content on the Site is for general information only and is not engineering, legal, tax, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions that depend on the Site’s content.
7 · Third-party services
The Site uses third-party services (Firebase, Telegram, font CDNs — see the Privacy Policy). FirstLaw is not responsible for the availability, content, or terms of those services. Their respective terms apply to the portions of the user experience they provide.
8 · Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstLaw and its directors, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of the Site.
10 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec.
11 · Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
